Nothing says fall like a hayride.
Last Saturday my kids went to their youth group’s annual fall party. The weather was absolutely beautiful. As we drove down the gravel road, a beautiful explosion of colors from the changing leaves filled the window. There was a crispness in the pre-winter air, the smell of apple cider and hot chocolate, campfire, and hay. Is it just me or does the night sky seem clearer in the fall? I have always felt that the night sky was much clearer and the stars much brighter during the fall months.
Goodbye October; the mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between summer and winter.
It's been wonderful having you here, I'll miss you.
